Ductile Items

YOPP/YOPP+ is a fully formulated pellet composed of bio-based and biodegradable poly-3-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) polymer, which is produced through microbial fermentation utilizing either plant-derived sugars (YOPP), waste methane (YOPP+), or a blend of both as the primary ingredient. The high-toughness (HT) grade is specifically engineered for the manufacturing of ductile items.

YOPP™ HT-102  

  • Designed for injection molding and 3D printing applications 
  • Elongation at break of 180-250% 
  • Can integrate with standard melt processing equipment (processing parameters provided) 
  • Molded items include environmental products, 3D printing filament, cosmetic caps, fashion hangers 
  • Natural off-white color – can be colored using natural and biobased colorants 

YOPP™ HT-103

  • Designed for injection molding applications 
  • Elongation at break of 15-25% 
  • Can integrate with standard melt processing equipment (processing parameters provided) 
  • Molded items include sandbox toys, environmental products, fashion accessories, housewares, cosmetic containers 
  • Natural off-white color – can be colored using natural and biobased colorants
